Several years ago, the Aguabonita Flyfishers and Friends of the Mt. Whitney Fish Hatchery began a very unique partnership that has grown stronger and stronger with each passing year.



Some areas where we have assisted the Hatchery are:



• Cleaning out mud and debries after the tragic flash flood of 2008

• Herding trout out of the display pond so the pond could be cleaned

• Providing fly fishing, fly tying, and fly casting instruction during their "Kids Free Fishing Day"

• Providing materials and labor for their Interpretive Center

• Various fund-raising events and raffles
