The Aguabonita Flyfishers help support the efforts of California Trout (CalTrout), Trout Unlimited (TU), International Federation of Flyfishers (IFFF), California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), U.S. Forest Service (USFS), and Kern River Preserve on projects in the Eastern Sierra Nevada mountain range and beyond.



  Our support comes not only in the form of funding but also in the many hours of labor and volunteer work for these agencies and organizations. We are proudest of our participation in the national award-winning Golden Trout Project, which averted listing of Golden Trout on the endangered species list. Due to recent CDFW and USFS funding reductions, this work would otherwise not have been accomplished.
